The Gilded Press is a private workshop in Eastbourne, built around the belief that if you are going to put your name on something, it should be pressed into paper, not printed on the surface.
Hot foil and letterpress are not finishes here. They are the way the work is made.

Metal type.
Heavy boards.
Heat and pressure.
Small runs.
Slow setup.
Careful make-ready.

Every sheet is handled, checked, and set aside by eye.

We work in small batches because weight is unforgiving.
It reveals bad decisions immediately.
Working slowly allows us to adjust impression, density, and registration until the card feels right in the hand.

Business cards are often the only physical trace of a meeting.
That matters.
A well-made card has weight, texture, and silence.
It does not shout.
It sits on a desk and waits.
